To bring Alice’s encyclopedic knowledge to a bigger subscriber base
The Feiring Line, Alice’s subscription-based newsletter, had been available only as a bi-monthly downloadable PDF, so past content was inaccessible. It was time to build a robust new platform that could help Alice reach the growing numbers of natural wine enthusiasts and increase subscription revenue.
The go-to resource for information about natural wines
We re-imagined The Feiring Line as a new digital platform with content updated bi-weekly, a cleaner interface, increased functionality, and, most important, an intuitive search function. Now subscribers get access to new monthly newsletters plus the ability to search through Alice’s archive of restaurant and travel reviews, vintner profiles, and wine recommendations by issue, grape, technical term, and other factors.
People worldwide turn to Alice for insights.
To make Alice’s extensive knowledge about natural wines instantly available to subscribers, we built a content management system capable of storing, tagging, and delivering it in useful ways. For example, results are organized according to categories such as “The Wine Recs,” “Higher Ed,” and “Where to Eat and Drink.”
And while the design is professional, the site maintains Alice’s lighthearted approach to wine and life.
