Schmackary’s boasts 75+ flavors that change daily and seasonally. Picking and choosing among them is part of the fun of going to the store. Shopping online, though, was less fun because of options like custom-ordering cookie flights and sending cookies to your favorite Broadway stars made it complicated. Only a unique, robust solution would do.

Developing a fun, intuitive visual language and user experience that reflects the energy and passion of the store was the easy part. But, given the complexity of options the site offers (Flavors change daily! Schmack Stack! Custom cookie flights!), that all depended on our developing a robust, client-friendly CMS paired with a complex write-up of custom order and shipping logic to power features such as the ability to see on any given day which cookies are available in-store, for local delivery, or for nationwide shipping.
The payoff came within a year after the site’s re-launch. As customers from all over the U.S. realized it was easy to keep up with this New York institution’s changing flavors, sales shot up over 1600%!
