We recently designed a report for the Foundation Center and the Council on Foundations that analyzes the data and trends on international grantmaking by U.S. foundations from 2011 through 2015.
Incorporating dynamic and colorful looking charts, graphs, and infographics, our goal was to visually tell the story of grantmaking so that readers would quickly understand the impact of U.S. cross-border funding trends and strategies.
The report also relates these trends to key events and developments during the time period, such as the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals, the Ebola crisis in West Africa, the reversal of the global gag rule, and the increasing legal restrictions faced by civil society in countries around the world.
“We think the design and the fact that the data and insights are so dynamic and accessible has a lot to do with the press and recognition this report is receiving!”
Inga Ingulfsen at the Foundation Center
